The 9am Service on a Sunday at St Chad's is a traditional service, using the Anglican liturgy and Holy Communion.

Music is led by the organ and choir and responses are sung by the choir and congregation.

Clergy are robed and the gospel and candle is processed. A sermon is given and prayers of intercession offered to God.

The service usually lasts about an hour.

The aim is to help worshippers draw close to God in a relaxed but fairly formal atmosphere of Anglican worship.
