a red ribbon, tied round the orange representing the blood of Jesus
fruits and sweets, skewered on 4 cocktail sticks which are pushed into the orange representing God's good gifts - the fruits of the earth and the four seasons

Roly Bain (Vicar and Clown) Rev Roly Bain travelled to Woodseats on Saturday 7th July to kick off a unique and memorable weekend of fun, faith and foolishness.
On a surprisingly sunny afternoon people streamed through the gates of Church House and onto the church field, stopping for a Pimms or cream tea before enjoying the various stalls - and then it was time for Roly's performance. Children & Adults were soon laughing as he jestered, juggled, slack-roped and created all manner of mahem. But it wasn't over ...
The fun continued in the evening hosted by the Foundation congregation with a Pie & Pea supper an amazing quiz and Roly delighting everyone with his unique style of story-telling. But it wasn't over ...
The aroma of bacon butties welcomed us to church on Sunday morning and after breakfast the worship began. It was a fun filled service - with our old frien Rev Roly. There was music singing fun prayer bubbles and lots more - and suddenly it WAS all over.
Roly was off on his travels again... to Wales then London then Perth Australia with the Archbishop of York. An unforgetable weekend
