Toby Hole (email: toby@stchads.org)

Toby became our vicar on 15th March 2010 following a service of Institution and Induction at St Chad's led by The Bishop of Sheffield. He was formerly Assistant Priest at St Mary's, Islington where he had been since 2006.

Toby is married to Amy and they have three young children Magnus, Isaac and Lydia .

They have a long association with Sheffield through family and were regular visitors. They have a love for the city and the surrounding countryside and have felt for some time that God was calling them to work in Sheffield.

Before ordination, Toby spent five years working as a solicitor in London .

Helen joined the staff in December 2008 and is the first point of contact for general church enquiries. Nick grew up in Woodseats and has previously attended Woodseats Methodist, Woodseats Baptist and St Chads Churches along with Abbey Lane School and Meadowhead School.

His hobbies include playing Ice and Roller Hockey, playing guitar and generally being silly (with Amy’s permission of course).

Besom

Steve leads a team of nine people from five different churches and has been involved with The Besom in Sheffield for the past seven years. Besom is a cross church, city wide initiative which encourages people to recognise Gods heart for the poor and to get involved themselves. Apart from the day to day running of Besom he organises prayer events and speaks to groups and churches across Sheffield, and beyond, about how they could be involved with Gods work amongst the most vulnerable in our city whilst remaining distinctly Christian. He is also a Regional Advisor for Besom which involves him supporting existing Besoms in the North of England as well as encouraging the growth of Besom in other towns and cities.

Steve is on the leadership team for the Foundation service which is currently exploring fresh expressions of church, and a leader of the Cornerstone small group.
