This Christmas at St Chad's we have lots of special events lined up along with our regular services as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

We’d love to see you – whether you’re a regular visitor, haven’t been for a while or have never stepped inside the church building.

Saturday December 6

Christmas Quiz at 6pm

Family-friendly Christmas fun. £5 a team with a maximum of eight people. Tea, coffee and nibbles provided. Bring your own other drinks.

Sunday December 14

Traditional Carol Service at 6pm

A service of music and readings retelling the Christmas story, led by Rev Jon Hidden and Rev Rachel Crossley. The service will be followed by refreshments.

Sunday December 21

Children's Nativity at 11am

Our children and young people’s nativity during the 11am service.

Alternative (to a ) Carol Service at 6pm

Christmas songs and carols with activities for all the family.

Christmas Eve

Crib & Christingle Service at 4pm

A Christmas Eve service, especially for children and families.

Midnight Communion at 11.30pm

Join us at St Chad's for a traditional midnight service to welcome Christmas Day.

Christmas Day

Christmas Day Celebration at 10am 

Celebrate Christmas Day with us at 10am in a service for all ages led by Rev Jon Hidden.
