St Chads 11am service

Our Regular Sunday Services are:

9am Holy Communion (except the first Sunday of the month)

Our weekly service of Holy Communion has robed clergy, hymns on the organ and a small choir.  On the first Sunday of the month, we all gather together at 11am for a whole church, all age service of Holy Communion.

11am Worship Service

Our 11am service is a more informal time where we pray, listen to the Bible and hear a talk, and praise God led by our band.  Children's groups run on most Sundays.

We also occasionally have a 10am service of Holy Communion on Thursdays followed by refreshments.

Live-Streaming

Our 11am service is live-streamed on our Facebook page (you can also see it at the bottom of this page). We hope that seeing it on your screen will encourage you to join us in person!

Morning Prayer: Mondays and Wednesdays at 9am

Chatting

Join us for Morning Prayer in the church building at 9am for about half an hour. There are a mixture of prepared and unprepared prayers, and a conversation surrounding the Bible passages set for the day. If you would like to take part in a service of morning prayer but are unable to come to St Chads, you can find the words and a recording through the national Church of England website here.

New Minister

Rev Toby Hole has now moved on to take up the post of Director of Mission and Ministry in the Diocese of Sheffield. Toby was vicar at St Chad's for 12 years until September 2022.

We are now in the process of finding a new oversight minister for St Chad's who will also be in charge of St Paul's Church in Norton Lees.

You can see Toby's video announcement here:
