Our Regular Sunday Services are:
9am Holy Communion
Our weekly service of Holy Communion has robed clergy, hymns on the organ and a small choir.
11am Worship Service
Our 11am service is a more informal time where we pray, listen to the Bible and hear a talk, and praise God led by our band. Groups for children and young people run on most Sundays.
On the second Sunday of the month our PitchUp@11 service usually takes place. It’s for anyone and everyone, all stages and ages, however you’re feeling - with time to pause, chat, create, get busy, and listen out for God.
Our 11am service - apart from PitchUp@11 - is live-streamed on our Facebook page (you can also see it at the bottom of this page). We hope that seeing it on your screen will encourage you to join us in person!
Morning Prayer: Mondays and Wednesdays at 9am
Join us for Morning Prayer in the church building at 9am for about half an hour. There are a mixture of prepared and unprepared prayers, and a conversation surrounding the Bible passages set for the day. If you would like to take part in a service of morning prayer but are unable to come to St Chads, you can find the words and a recording through the national Church of England website here.
Our new oversight minister Rev Jon Hidden has been welcomed to St Chad's and St Paul's at a service with the Bishop of Sheffield Rt Rev Pete Wilcox when we were joined by guests from across the Woodseats area and further afield.
Please join with us in praying for Jon and his family they begin a new chapter in their lives here is Woodseats and Norton Lees.
