Are you looking for a friendly place to escape to on a Thursday afternoon? We would love to welcome you to Communi-tea — a term-time weekly event at St Chad’s designed to provide warmth, connection and a light meal. We're not meeting during the summer but will be back in the autumn and would love to welcome you!
What to Expect
Whether you’re a busy family heading home from the school run or live on your own, Communi-tea is a space for you.
- Warmth & Connection: A friendly space to chat and meet new people.
- Food & Drink: Enjoy hot and cold drinks upon arrival, followed by a simple meal later.
- Activities: We’ll have games, jigsaws and Lego available to young and old to enjoy.
Where and when is it?
Communi-tea is in St Chad's church building on Linden Avenue - just off Abbey Lane and will take place every Thursday from 3pm to 5.30pm.
How much does it cost?
It's free, but a small donation of £1 would be welcomed for the food if you're able.
