3rd Age

The 3rd Age Ministry was launched 10 years ago with the prime aim to recognise, respond and value our local senior citizens. We recognised that to grow our church family as well as welcoming young families and young people’s needs. However we also needed to pay attention and due care to an active, but aging congregation, some of whom were becoming frail and housebound. To ensure St Chad’s Church could provide this care many teams were gathered together ready to welcome those over 50, lonely or mobility restricted within our parish wishing to join in our outreach. These teams continue to support our aim through a variety of activities, so do join in!
