Befrienders

Our Befrienders are a small team who visit you or a family member at home who may be house bound,  lonely or in need of a good chat.

Our Befriending team visit folk who are feeling somewhat cut-off due to being less mobile than they used to. Referrals for visits still slowly come through but our visiting team has had a set back so we are looking for a couple of new Befrienders although we will continue to respond to all enquiries and consider each at the time of visiting. If you would like to recommend someone for our support please contact the Office to leave details.

All of our befriending team are checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service and agree to follow St Chad’s safeguarding policies, to help keep any vulnerable adults safe. More information is available here.
