Midweek Toddlers

Welcome to St Chad’s Toddler Group in our newly re-shaped church!

We are now meeting on Wednesdays from 9.30am to 11.30am during term time.

The aim of the group is for pre-school children to play in a safe environment whilst their parents/grandparents/carers enjoy a chat and a catch-up. Although we have tried to minimise any risks, please be aware that this is a church and not a purpose-built area for toddlers. You are responsible for your own children. We charge £2 per session. This is to cover rent, insurance and membership of the Pre-School Alliance, as well as refreshments and replacement of toys.  Please note that this is still payable should you decide not to have any refreshments. In the church, we have a new area near the kitchen known as the narthex. We aim to keep all drink and biscuits in this area so as to minimise mess in the rest of the church. As you will know, a toddler with a biscuit can make a lot of mess in a very short time!

We hope that everyone will pitch in and take responsibility for this group, especially with regards to setting up and clearing away. A friend of mine has offered to prepare and clear away the refreshments, but when she isn’t available we need your help. Many hands make light work!
