O Lord my God.
Teach my heart this day
where and how to find you.

You have made me and re-made me,
and you have bestowed on me
all the good things I possess,
and still I do not know you.

I have not yet done
that for which I was made. 

Teach me to seek you,
for I cannot seek you
unless you teach me.

    I cannot find you,
unless you show yourself to.
Let me seek you in my desire;
let me desire you in my seeking.
Let me find you by loving you;
let me love you when I find you.

Book of Common Prayer for Peace

O GOD, from whom all holy desires,
all good counsels, and all just works do proceed;
Give unto thy servants that peace
which the world cannot give;
that our hearts may be set to obey thy commandments,
and also that by thee, we,
being defended from the fear of our enemies,
may pass our time in rest and quietness;

Be the Power of All Things Within Us

O God the Holy Ghost who art Light unto thine elect,
Evermore enlighten us.
Thou who art Fire of love,

As the wind is thy symbol,
